Higher Education Talk Radio and NACCTEPCommunity College Teacher Education Pathways The NACCTEP National Scholarship Program was founded to help students at member colleges realize their dreams of becoming teachers. NACCTEP is proud to offer two $1,000 scholarships for the 2013-2014 academic year. We encourage teacher education and early childhood students at current member colleges to apply. On February 25, 2013, NACCTEP President Cindy Kelley and NACCTEP Executive Director Kimberly Tobey represented NACCTEP discussing the various community college teacher education pathways. Models of SuccessNACCTEP members across the nation are at the forefront of developing state of the art teacher education and early childhood programs and practices, model partnerships, coordinated events, and outstanding student support services, all of which increase student access to and success within community college and university programs. In order to further showcase the amazing things members are doing, NACCTEP began asking for the submission of Models of Success in fall 2011. Models of Success are just that – models of innovative and successful community college teacher education and early childhood programs, practices, partnerships, policies, services, and activities/events. You can still submit modes for Early Childhood Education and Service Learning/Field Experience. To view the models that have been submitted, go to the Resources header. |
