Models of Success

As the only national association of its kind, NACCTEP is frequently asked for information regarding the amazing work its members are doing every day. Data from member profile surveys, national conferences, and individual college articles have been used in the past to promote the association and its members. More recently, NACCTEP published the NACCTEP Executive Board Ideas, Initiatives & Innovations as a way to share information with members and outside entities.

NACCTEP members across the nation are at the forefront of developing state of the art teacher education and early childhood programs and practices, model partnerships, coordinated events, and outstanding student support services, all of which increase student access to and success within community college and university programs.

In order to further showcase the amazing things members are doing, NACCTEP began asking for the submission of Models of Success in fall 2011. Models of Success are just that – models of innovative and successful community college teacher education and early childhood programs, practices, partnerships, policies, services, and activities/events.

The first round of requested Models of Success submissions focused on EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. The exemplary models that were submitted by member colleges are now posted here. We encourage you to read them over and to consider contacting the authors if an article speaks to you in some way or you would like additional information.

In spring 2012, NACCTEP requested the second round of Models of Success focused on SERVICE LEARNING/FIELD EXPERIENCE. The exemplary models that were submitted by member colleges are posted here.

As always, thank you for your continued support.
