General requirements for all Board positions
All nominees must be a member of NACCTEP, active in teacher education, and have institutional support to serve for the term of office. The NACCTEP Operating Procedures includes a description of the duties for each position. The NACCTEP Board Opportunities and Involvement document is also available. Both documents may be found at here.

As the only national association of its kind, NACCTEP is frequently asked for information regarding the amazing work its members are doing every day. Data from member profile surveys, national conferences, and individual college articles have been used in the past to promote the association and its members. More recently, NACCTEP published the NACCTEP Executive Board Ideas, Initiatives & Innovations as a way to share information with members and outside entities.
The National Association of Community College Teacher Education Programs (NACCTEP) promotes the community college role in the recruitment, preparation, retention, and renewal of diverse early childhood and K-12 teachers. The Executive Board leadership commits to achieve this mission through the Association Goals and Strategies.
